I'd love to have a sit down nose to nose- toes to toes interview with SONNY JAMES!!!! he's just one of the few LEGENDS that i have'nt met as of yet! I'm on a mission to hunt him down before this year is over. what i'd prob ask him is for a hand shake and a long hug and 2 great pics of us together for my album. also i'd like to know what he's been up to since he retired!

I live near Sonny James' hometown of Hackleburg, Al. He lives in New York, but comes home every year to a little festival in Hackleburg. His name is Sonny James Loden. His parents owned a propane gas business. My brother-in-law went to grade school with him. He is a really nice, down to earth guy.

It's hard to think of who's still alive. I suppose the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band would have some great stories about the Circle albums. Rodney Dillard. Ralph Stanley definitely. Norman Blake. Good luck with Sonny James.

I actually got the chance to interview Johnny Lee back in the early '90s when I was working for an AM radio station. Cant beat that.

EDIT: btw, Tammy and George did one last album of duets together just b4 she died. It is called "One." Fantastic bunch of songs. A MUST HAVE for Wynette/Jones fans.

I would interview a band- ALABAMA and ask them about their career that spanned over 20 years :)
I would pick Loretta Lynn and ask her about if she and Conway had a affair during their career?

It would be Conway Twitty. I would ask him how he got that gravel in his voice and also ask him if my life has been the inspiration for all of his hit songs.

I'd love to meet & greet Barbara Mandrell. She's just one of my favorite singers of all time! I'd get her to autograph my CD.
