It depends on the service. I live 5 miles from the border and the people could care less if the store is safe, the people are nice or not, and the fact that they don't speak English isn't their problem but yours. Trust me mor than once I have complained so that a bathroom was clean enough to use and the food was done properly and even a person who treats rudely is spoken to. I am spending money in their business and they are there to cater to me and not the other way around.

I think its great, most humans just take the crap stores dish out and expect to pay the stores prices without objections, so if a sales person didnt have my best intrest at heart they are going to know about it,. I think if everyone started to make a scene then the store will start hiring good help.
Imagine if you will, you go to mcdonalds and you 90% of the time cannot get your sandwich done right for just taking off pickles but yet these same type of people are working the nursing homes and are they going to leave you in your depends all day and night when you get to that age?

People have a right to be mad when they don't get the service they deserve, but I don't believe in making a scene. I personally will ask for the manager. If I'm still not happy after that, I will call their cooperate office and make a complaint. I think when people make a scene, they are less like to get what they want. Plus, they end up looking dumb in the long run.

Nobody has a right to be mad or rude!
Just because they turn up as a Customer does not mean they can be nasty!
They ought to remember that someone else can become a Customer in their Business! How would it feel, then???
However, every Store, --if it is to remain in business,-- MUST improve the quality of their goods and the quality of their Service!

I think the scene is funny when people loose their cool and cause a scene at a store. I enjoy telling others about what I witnessed. When I get in a situation like this at work, I laugh at the person. As for what I think about the person when it happens in a store, I always think they are making a jerk of themselves.

They need to increase their meds. Really, I worked in a few different big name department stores and I saw so many people do alot of strange stuff. Once I was cashier in the garden section of a Target and a lady came to my line with makeup that she was buying. She had three children with her. This was about January. None of the children had jackets on. The younger one in the stroller didn't have shoes on. After this lady had checked out, security came over to me and told me that there was a lady that they saw on the security cameras with children. She had two of the children putting clearance prices on the makeup she was buying. They had just missed her by a few minutes. She came back again the next week and they caught her. I have seen people go off on cashiers and supervisors. Sometimes it would get pretty ridiculous.

Usually I just find another store. Being rude is not a good way to conduct business.

You know I think these people need to get a life, they come into stores expecting to get over on you and it doesnt work they get all pissed off. I tell them to take a hike and go to some other store.

People who publicly cause scenes annoy the hell out of me. I tend to believe that they might just be, oh I don't know, attention whores? They need to get a perception check. I think those people are probably really unhappy with themselves and feel that by making other people feel stupid, they are gaining power. In fact, it's the exact opposite.
I like your questions. :-)

I think it is great when someone gets bad service, they should make a stink. If you think about it most of us are afraid to make a stink and we go home feeling stupid and stepped on. I think if someone has a good reson to gripe, they should take the opportunity to vent. It makes you feel good. It also keeps managers on their toes.
