As a jet plane is heard, Chief Pfeifer turns up his head to the sky in reaction to the engine noise just as the plane races by overhead, but the plane can't yet be seen in the video. The camera then pannes immediately into a north to south direction as well as upwards, past and up the ATT building on Church Street between Lispenard and Walker Streets, and shows the plane in its last fractions of a second racing towards the tower and hitting it with devastating effect, at which time the camera zooms into the ensuing fireball.--------
======= Thus it is clearly evident that the fire chief was at a loss where to look, but the cameraman as surprising as it is was so sure that he panned across an entire neighboring building and further turned to focus his camera on the wtc to catch blurrily what is supposed 2 b a plane and then zoomed to catch the fireball and all this in real time.

No, not really. If you knew anything about photography and videography, there is nothing funny with this. Getting the right shot, which this was, is most of the time dumb luck. The direction the plane is traveling could be determined by hearing which direction the sound is coming from. Obviously the plane is traveling in the opposite direction from that which you hear the sound. Also, a device called auto-focus would be to blame for the apparent lack of focus on the plane. A camera cannot instantly focus on objects at a new distance and usually will lose focus if you quickly pan to something new. None of this is strange at all.

Have you ever seen people looking in DIFFERENT directions at the sound of a siren or explosion or something else like it? I have, many times. Now I know why this happens: the people, who look in the right direction are involved...
How can you be so smart to figure this out?

Maybe the cameraman was in on it...or maybe he saw the plane coming and just zeroed in on it...which makes more sense?
