I'm a firm believer of what goes around, comes around.
But, I fell prey to a "smoothie" who, by the time I wised up, had already ruined me. Without going into great detail ( that would only embarrass me by showing how naive I was) , after 2 yrs it cost me almost $20,000.00 to try to undo the damage. I had to sell my house anyway. I have 3 kids. I was getting bills months later from collection agencys for stuff he put in my name. He ruined me financially. I'm not mad, I don't want his legs broke or anything like that.
But I know his S.S.#. and other personal info.
I'm sure there are some very creative people out there who can give me some suggestions.
P.S. Besides all the sneaky theiving, the last thing he did was total my car, leaving me no way to get to work, I had no collision ins. He bought himself a brand new truck.
Any thoughts?

I don't want to get credit cards or anything like that. I don't want anything.
I have accepted the fact that I had only myself to blame, (or I would've gone nuts!). I do, however want to make things difficult for him. Some inconvenient, annoying little things. Like a "paper" mess.

Sorry, no creative advice. But if you were "conned" try filing charges against him. If you can prove he did then you could probably get him for several things. And if he was a "smoothie" then you probably werent his only victim. Go the legal route. It seems you are probably the one that would get caught....always works that way it seems....lol. You may be able to sue him over the wrecked car. Dont really know about that. Good luck in whichever you chose. Hope things get better for you and your children

If you are fishing for help for vengence, you can't say that you are not mad. Obviously you are, for good reason. I say let it go. Things done in anger almost always make things worse. Let it go. You abase yourself by sinking to his level.

P.S. If you truly believe in what comes around goes around, then you have nothing to worry about. Karma will get that bastard.

i know you want to get this person back, but damn...if you get caught it will only make it that much worse for you and your kids. It's 2007 and they are finding even more ways to track identity theft!! Why not just sue the guy or turn him over to the better buisness bureau or police if he tried to scam you?

REPORT HIM TO THE POLICE, THAT'LL MAKE THINGS DIFFICULT FOR HIM, AND HE'LL BE UP TO HIS KNEES IN 'PAPER'.....as you put it

There are TONS of things you can do with his social. If you just ask around saying that you forgot your password or whatever and all they need is your social then use it. These things include bank atm's, credit cards, putting bills in his name, all of that. To hear what you had to say I hope you get him good.

Go to seventhavenue.com and make a charge account in his name to get some pretty things for your house.

I know you hate him but what you are contemplating is criminal and he could end up getting another one on you by sending you to jail. Just move on and consider it a lesson well learned.

Have fun with his SSN. I am sure you can think of some things you can do with it. It is now your turn. What goes around comes around. Good Luck.

There's any number of things you can do, all illegal and easily traced. I wouldn't try it.
