not paying attention (not respecting) to non-western cultures, their beliefs, their world views, their knowing. I am convinced that some of what these peoples have to say is key to Humanity's well being.

And, last but not least, we keep on remaining afraid. To live in fear and accept to do so is also one big mistake the world is making today.

The lessening of the value of life. We should be evolving the OTHER way, learning to value life -- ALL LIFE -- more, not less. Abortion, the death penalty, terrorists, corporations making money on the backs of the poverty stricken...

People nowadays have the opinion that if someone breaks into their house they have the RIGHT to kill that person. We SHOULD think instead, that there is nothing -- no POSSESSION -- that is worth more than a human life.

I watch the TV show "Bones." The lead character is highly moral and she said something that really struck me. Talking with her FBI partner she said "Good people don't hire someone to kill someone else. Good people don't even know HOW to hire someone to do that!"

Until we learn to value LIFE, human beings can never grow, evolve, to be what we should be.
