Personally, I like both for different things.Would you put mustard in you fries? Or ketchup in your deviled-eggs? But on some things both are required, like hot dogs and ham/cheese burgers. But in the end its up to you.

Well, it depends on what I am going to eat it on...
I have to go against most of your answerer's and say mustard, but that is for sandwiches, onion rings, etc whereas ketchup is for fries and tater tots etc
