I was not around in the 50s,and too young to remember to 60s and 70s. But in the 80s as a teen, I had great times. Experienced my many firsts. Like some said, the music was good but not the clothes.

The 80's I loved the music from then and dancing to it too. But now I have a hard time finding some of the good rare and one hit wonder stuff. Plus of course I was a teen for most of the 80's. Being a teen again would be fun in some ways, but would really suck in others, ya know! But I would still say the 80's!!!!!!

i grew up and went to highschool in the 70's so that is my fondest memories however, my party years were in the 80's so I am sort of torn. I think both the 70's and 80's. Infact the 60's were my childhood so they were good too.

Maybe the 80's would have been fun. The "pioneers" in the 60's and 70's would have done the hard stuff for you.
That leave you with the fun stuff, like expressing yourself. Things like AIDS weren't understood yet. You wouldn't yet be fearful.
The 80's may have been the end of our innocense.

If I could've brought my current knowledge back, I would've lived in the 50s. I could be like a fortune teller and tell them that in 2008, the Olympics will be in Beijing or I'll tell them that, um..., Rocky gets a lot of sequels, etc.
If I can't, I would prefer the 80s because the technology is better.

I say the 60s and 70s, mainly because that era had the best music. The way businesses operated back then was smarter too.

I'm a 70's fan although I was born in '76. HIlariously cool fashion, music, dance, expression, protest, attitude, & chilled out vibe.
Am also fond of the fashion of the '30's to '40's and the strength shown in uncertain times.
