Is that 3 weeks since the start of your last period? If so, you're testing too early. If you have a 28 day cycle, you would most likely conceive 14 days after the start of your last period. It can then take 6-10 days before the egg implants into your uterus and you begin to make pregnancy hormone. Then to get to levels high enough to trigger a positive on most home pregnancy tests takes up to seven more days. To really get the most accurate results on a home pregnancy test you have to wait until after you've actually missed your period which you probably haven't yet at just 3 weeks since your last period.

Oh my! Ok, it is possible u are pregnant and the test is not showin it yet. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant with my 4th child. My first 3 i tested and got results right away. However with this one it took till i was 3 months along to get a result in urine or even blood for that matter. I tested and tested like crazy and kept gettin negatives so i then went to my Dr whom did a blood test and that was also negative. 3 months later i took another urine hpt and finally got my positive and then it finally showed in blood too!
If u feel u are pregnant hang in there and keep testing and if u feel you're not then you need to be checked for other problems that would be causing this!
I hope u get an answer soon!
Good luck

Yes you could be pregnant...I know that when my sister was pregnant with her last baby she had 15 home pregnancy test come back negative and then she went and had a blood test done and it was border line...It was then that she had her third blood test that came back with a solid positive. So anything is possible so I say that you take another test and make sure that you use early morning pee it is the strongest and you will get the best results that way. Good luck and wish you the best of luck.

You could very well be pregnant and it can be that your hormones aren't high enough to a test to detect so if I were you I would wait at least more 2 weeks to take another test...if it's negative again go see a doctor.

I am not a female but I may be able to help you. It is not totally abnormal for you to go an extended period of time without a period. All of the following may contribute to you missing your time of the month: playing sports, weight loss, and stress. there are many more reasons. My advice is read up on menstral cycles. Also it is always good advice to see a doctor. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
