Restart PC. If it does not work, this where you become Mcgyver w/ your paper clip. Straighten it and insert it into that tiny hole just below the CD tray. A slight push of the pin will cause the CD tray to move out a bit. Just pull it out slowly.

Turn off ur computer.
Get a piece of thin wire or a thin paper clip. Make sure it's straight.
Notice a very small hole in your cd-rom drive. Using the mentioned wire, poke that hole until the cd try ejects a little bit.
Pull the cd tray out 2 retrieve the cd.
When u r done, push back the cd tray inside.

if you are using nero (roxio might do the same) you have to hit next in the application once or twice and closing hte burning part of the app before it will let the cd open. at this point it will actually open it for you.
oh, and if that dont work,,, push the button, use a paperclip, and restart the computer
(this was said just cause 10 other people said the exact same thing)

my friend had faced a similar problem.u have 2 solutions. either u could use a small pin to insert it into the tiny hole above the button in cd-rom drive .this did not fix the problem in my friend's pc.so he tried the 2nd solution and it worked.THE 2ND SOLN. IS ::u could open the cpu cabinet [it is easy to open] and remove the cd-rom drive carefully .Then take out the screws in it using screw-driver and remove ur cd !!!!But pls do it very carefully and do not damage other parts. it is better to ground urself before u touch any computer parts[ u could use a static band available in stores].ALL THE BEST and pls tell me if this solved ur problem.

Try going to MyComputer, then right click on the CD burner and select "eject".
If that doesn't work, restart your computer, and while windows is starting press the button to open it.
