I heard the actress who plays her does really want to come back.

But I don't see how they would write her back into the show seeing as how she has been in a comatose state since 02. Sure they brought her back in november for a short while but just wouldn't make sense to me if she did come back.

It isn't that Genie Francis doesn't want to come back, it's just her priorities are different right now. She and her husband are raising their 2 young boys in Maine. If GH can give her more liberties she would consider it, she has said she would like to but her family and raising the boys comes first. She even has a home decor store in Maine. She needs to find a way to make it work and so far that hasn't happened for her yet.
They have left it open for her to come back, she enjoyed it in November. They could always have her come back when the 'real' killer is discovered, she might snap out of it then if it's disclosed to her, that is how they left it. If that was the case the doctors would have been wrong all this time and it would have been a trauma induced catatonia and not a permanent medical state. You never know with soaps anything is possible. Tony who plays Luke spends much of his time in the Netherlands and that is why he is gone so often. Genie would like to have a similar arrangement, but with even possible more time at home in Maine. Until that happens or until she is comfortable bringing her kids back to California or finds another way to make it work then she will remain catatonic.

haha! Her white gown and Lulu in that standard drained Juicy Couture sweat wholesome. i've got not heard approximately Laura loss of life. i'm hoping they do no longer deliver Genie Francis out like that! She's a GH icon.

Its true that she does want to come back but they havent made anything offical. If it did happen she wouldnt be on until late this year since Tony Geary likes to go on extensive vacations
