does any one belive in aliens?

are aliens around my uncle claimed he saw one but then again... he is 45 he is oooollllllddddd.... does anyone belive him? or in aliens at all?

I don't belive him because I think it would be a waste for an advanced civilization to try to study us, and letting themselves be seen.

Which aliens? From space or from other countries? Both do exist, but space aliens are living somewhere on their planets and have NOT visited us yet and aliens from other countries are all around us.
And if you want to be serious, there's a very good possibility that intelligent life exists somewhere in the Universe. Why not? But I do not believe they visited us. Why I do not believe they visited us? Well, if they wanted their visit to be secret, why do they let people (mostly in trailer parks) see them? If they do not care, why don't they ever have their huge UFO be seen over New York or Paris or London?
As for your uncle, who would listen to such an old man? What is he? 45? Is he in a nursing home?

there is a famous probability equation known as the "Drake Equation" (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drake_equation ) which, when very small assumptions are made (ie. 1% of all habitable planets harbor life of some form), brings about the possibility that life does exist, but:
a) most of it in the cellular or primordial form
b) if they have developed rational thought, then either they have self-destructed or too primitive to communicate
c) that highly-advanced intelligent life is out there, albeit in very small numbers

This was based off of the 1961 report and the explanations of why Drake chose his assumptions. The article does go on to re-evaluate the Drake Equation (now called the "Rare Earth hypothesis") according to current scienctific discoveries, which has tipped the scales heavily towards microbial and primordial life forms. Basically it states that we may be the only intelligent life form out there (although that can't be said for certainty since we have yet to move out of the "possible self-extinction" phase).

While I believe that there could be intelligent life out there, I also am adhered to the scientific process and will directly quote the Fermi-Hart Paradox in asking "Where are they?" if the universe is filled with them?

But there is life out there, just not War of the Worlds or Independence Day - like.

yes i belive in alien because like earth there may be another planet where life originated in different form or look . There are many galaxies in universe which have solar system like us or other type of system and there may be planets which have life like on earth. But there look may be differenct and they need other things for there existence like human-being

I think they exist because your uncle is not the only one that saw aliens. There are hundreds of people that saw them. I don't think we are alone.

why,....not!!!! u know earth is the only planet that has life,....in solar system .and most of the astronomers believe that like our solar system ,..there may other stars,..having its own planets supporting life...and they might be highly evolved like,..us!. because this universe itself is very vast. Like our earth there may be other planets some where in other galaxies,.....
Many countries are tapping the signals and waveforms that are coming from the outer space and ,..analyzing it .and many of them did it,....once,...they have tapped a signal which has no relation with the ,...signals that are existing on earth. there is some organization called search for extraterrestrial life,....doing this way. u take glance,...in links provided,..... u will come to know,....plz check the crops formation,...and other detials that were struck in others life like u r uncle,....!

some of the people,..have already taped in their handy cams ,so called UFO or flying *****,....and sent it for NASA,....for analysis,...NASA,...gives old sick reasons and blah blah,.......!

Ahem!!! 45 is *not* old, I'm 61 ☺
I don't necessarily believe him. I *do* believe in the scientific method. So, as soon as someone can actually 'prove' to me that 'aliens' exist, I'll simply say that there's nothing that I'm familiar with in all of science that says they -can't- exist.

Nah. not really. I mean, i wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of life on a different planet. like, maybe some kind of weird fungus, but not anything like the styrotypical "alien"
