Take a pain pill ice it down this sounds dumb but if you wanna play soon move your hand constantly flex your fingers and all that kinda stuff.. takes about 2 weeks to completely feel better ,but you could prob play in about week I know i done that sort of thing before playing football...

Did you just have X rays done the day you hurt it, Sometimes with swelling broken bones might not show on the first day. Also are you resting it with little to no usage sometimes even just the slight work with it might bother it. Also how long have you been icing it simple question I know but some people forget to do them. Also I would say that even if it is just bruise I would wait until there is not much pain. to play playing with it in pain might make it take longer to heal plus is it swollen. if so I would condiser trying to see the doctor again for a second X ray hope this helps

a bruised bone can actually hurt worse than a broken one. i wouldn't play if i were you. the vibration from the bat will really hurt as will the force of the ball hitting the glove. it may take longer to heal as well. sit out at least a few days. keep your hand wrapped and try again in about a week.

If you play...you will pay! You could have tendon and/or nerve damage. Tell your doctor. Otherwise...try not to use it and keep it elevated above your heart.
