I never lower my standards because I'm worth more than that. To lower your standards is to give away part of yourself.

Never, I don't lower my standards because life is way to short to settle for less then what you truly want. Besides, there is nothing wrong with having high standards for yourself.

standards of what this question needs qualifying because standards can comprize many a person for instance when people are broke they may ahve to sleep in a motel rahter than a hotel,etc

but seriously, you should only lower your standards if you are being too picky....but if your standards are reasonable, than you should never lower them....
