the commish hell yes ........its his job to promote baseball he should be fired if he isnt'. Hank it should be his choice. I would say yes if it was just one game. But it could go on forever. Not fair to hank to put his life on hold.

let me think about this...

#1: Bonds has a size-9 head, which is not normal...SOMETHING had to pump his head up that big

#2: Bonds has had knee and elbow problems (including those floating bone-chips we heard about a couple of years ago)...'roids are proven to break your body down

#3: Bonds goes from hitting 49 HR to 73 practically overnight, and he looks about a million x bulkier than he did in his prime.

#4: Bonds has already admitted to "accidentally" taking the cream and the clear, he's being indicted for heaven knows how many different things, and his own trainer won't talk to anyone about what's going on.

***BREAKING NEWS***
Bonds is on 'roids...that should be all the evidence you need. If I was the commish or Hammerin Hank, I would distance myself as far from Barry as I possibly can, and start rooting REAL hard for A-rod

As Barry said he has his own business and it wouldn't make sense for him to be there. Who say that Hank Aaron has distanced himself from Bonds? Do you personally know their relationship? He has a ton of respect for Bonds as in his interview in regards to the record and if Barry Bonds breaks it he's going to be happy for him. People are trying to make it seem like there's an issue between them when there's not. Hank Aaron like most people still believe in innocent until proven guilty. Bonds has never tested positive for any performance enhancing drugs. The commissioner should be there for the record whether he goes is another story but most people think he'll be there.

Hank Aaron shouldn't be there. Why should Hank Aaron have to stoop to Bonds level? If he shows up, does that mean he agrees with how Bonds broke his record?

Seelig should be there so that he can get booed along with Bonds if Bonds hits his 756th HR on the road. Seeling is an embarrassment to all professional sports. He needs to learn from Roger Goodell. Seelig's the commissioner, so he needs to show who's in charge.

20 years from now who will care if Aaron or the comish was there. Are you going to remember if you saw Bonds get the record or seeing Aaron eat a hot dog.

I think Aaron shouldn't, the commish shouldn't.

No fans, no sportwriters.

Only Barry's girlfriends, and people who've either supplied or injected him.

It'd be standing room only.

My personal opinion is that I don't want Barry to break Hanks record, but looks like me might. I just do not like Barry to much. to answer your question, that's a toughie, but i guess that would not be a prob.

Nope. i dont think anyone except people condone cheating, lying and frauding people should be there. barry bonds is a lousy no good sack of dog poop and he does not deserve to hold any records. the best baseball player, babe ruth, is still the home run king. barry bonds is a freak. i do not like him 1 bit.

Of course, they both should. Breaking the home run record is a huge landmark, and all baseball fans should respect that.

Yes i know, Barry Bonds used steroids before, but so has every body builder, football player, wrestler, etc. and we don't care about them. People just like to hate Barry Bonds....
