It all depends upon the benefits of the policy and where you live. In my area the range is from $30 for a higher deductible to $213 per month for a lower deductible. The most commonly sold comprehensive policies for someone of your age runs around $100 for a $1500 deductible.
You will want to contact a local independent agent to find out the plan that would be best for your situation. The agent knows the market in your area and can guide you better than the internet plus they don't charge you anything for the service.

Here are a few questions you need to consider
Loca Agent vs National Sales Person - Does the person/company have an office in your city/state?
Hospital Deductible - This is the amount that you will need to pay in the event someone needs to be hospitalized. These range from $500-$5000
Dr. Office Co-Pay - This is the amount that you will need to pay the Dr. Office each time that you visit them. These range from $0-$50
Hospital Co-Insurance (usually listed as 80/20 or 70/30) - This is the amount of money that you and the insurance company pay base upon %. For example - if the policy says 80/20 then after you pay the initial deductible then you would pay 20% of the covered expenses and the insurance company would pay 80% of the covered expenses up to the Stop Loss. (usually $5,000 or $10,000)
OOP - Out of Pocket expenses - this means the total amount of covered expenses that you would be responsible to pay. This does not include non covered expenses..
Conditions that might be excluded - All insurance companies consider risk when evaluating any conditions that you might have or prescriptions that you are currently taking. One company may exclude or decline coverage while another company might cover the condition.
These are a few of the questions. The agent you choose must be licensed in the state you reside in. I hope this helps

Depends on where you live and what is offered in your state...I would also check into an HSA if you are healthy. It may be a lot cheaper for you. Get the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz and this will help you decide and save you a ton on your healthcare.....get it on amazon.com. It is a lot cheaper there than at a book store.

Why ask average people at Yahoo when you can fill in a few online forms and get a quote directly? Prices vary according to where you live, your job, your history etc etc.
Some websites will even output quotes from dozens of different insurers.

www.insurance.com will help you. It is all priced by current health history, your area, etc. This gives you quotes on the internet. If you live in California, Oregon, or Washington, you could also apply through Costco. They have great plans and awesome rates. Good luck!
