loosing Of Brain Cell Depends On Where And How Did We Hit Our Head We Will Loss The Cells And Tissue When We Hit It Very Hardly If We Don't Hit It Hardly It Will Only Damage Our Tissue And cell Which IS Easily Recoverable.
In Case We Hit It Hardly It Depends Where We Hit Because There Are Three Part Of Brain And All Three Controls A Specific Task The Parts Are Medulla, cerebellum,Cerebrum Which Controls Their Own Task And When We Hit medulla It Will Have Some Difficulty To Control Our Body And So On And The Main Brain Is The Cerebellum Which Coordinates The other Two Brain And Controls Our Body And All Functions Of The Body And We Hit Cerebrum I Don't know What Happens I Forgot But I Know That There Are MAny Cells In Our Brain And It Is Somewhat Difficult To Damage The Brain It Is The fact That When We Thought Any Thing
More Than 50000 Cells Losses And Soon They Also Repaired Or Any Other Cell Takes Their Place.

hitting hard may cause hematomes (bluish thing on your skin), on the brain surface (compose of neocortex and a membrane that protects the brain), so when an hematome occur on the brain surface it only disapear by destroying the neurones of the zone affected to become a liquid. So it can kill a few million cells easily if not more... Actually profesional boxers received so many hit to the head that sometimes their brain is so fragilized that they can die if they receive only one more hit to the head!! Not sure if they are less bright too, as the brain learn to compensate the functions he is losing over time, but still can be dangerous!

You don't lose them, you just forget where they are.
Seriously, just hitting your head, but not very hard, does little damage to the brain, but it might damage the blood vessels in your scalp eventually. Brain damage usually occurs when brain moves violently within the cranium, say, during a boxing match, or a fall etc. Otherwise it is well protected.

unless you make a hole in your head you don't lose any. You just confuse a couple pathways for a little bit..
