OHH I love Penelope and Celeste. 2 Favorites of mine. Besides, I think they are less common than Phoebe and Adelaide. Adelaide is not that common, but I have a feeling it will rise a little in popularity because of the similar sounding name Addison.
I just love the sound of Celeste. Penelope has many great nicknames, too: Penny, Ellie, etc.

Penelope, for some reason the name Phoebe reminds me of the word phobia.
Anyway, I think that Celeste is a pretty name & it's easier to pronounce than Adelaide, although Adelaide has a nice meaning, Noble and Kind. The shortened verson of Adelaide, Adele is also pretty and it would go well with the name Celeste--Adele Celeste, imho.

I come from Adelaide and love that name. I adore all your choices! It isnt often I see any names on here that I truly like. You have picked 4 georgeous names.
I prefer Penelope over Phoebe only because there is that witch show set in San Fran and maybe Phoebe is becoming common, although it isnt common here in Australia YET. Penelope hasnt been around for some time. So pretty.
Then I like Adelaide. Then Phoebe, then Celeste.

Celeste is good. Penelope is alright. I really dislike Phoebe and Adelaide.

Celeste is such a beautiful name! And represents a beautiful concept - celestial, the sky!
Adelaide sounds business-like, so it depends what image you want associated with your child's presence. I'd say a doctor or lawyer named Adelaide would be awesome!
Penelope and Phoebe seem to me, both, to be rather odd-sounding names. Phoebe or Fee-bee, gives me the hee-bee-gee-bees! And Penelope just lopes along! Just not exciting enough! So neither pick, for those two!
Celeste for artistic aspirations and Adelaide for someone more serious-minded in life. I like them both! Good luck!

I really like Penelope, but I love Phoebe. I also love Adelaide, but Celeste is not my favorite. When I hear it or see it, it reminds me of molest, I just don't like it.
