who would have thought that a piece of bamboo can do so much?
i have named my backscratcher "julie" after my ex wife. she gave such good back.

INo, no don't use the back scratcher,,,then you have to find it before you can use it!
Ok, the trick here is
1. sleep on the side of the bed the alarm is nearest to.
2, sleep close to that side, so you can actually roll over, or lean over, and the alarm is in arm's reach.
3. that is the major factor here, to be able to reach the dreaded snooze button, with as little movement as possible.
4. finally, and very important,,,learn how many times you can hit the snooze button before it gives up. I add this, because I have learned the hard way, that my clock/radio gives you about 6 times :)

I don't work anymore, so even when I did use the alarm I never ever hit the snooze button. I just shut it off as I was jumping up from the bed.

No. My alarm clock is on the other side of the room so it makes me get up and turn it off.
