No. I think Harry will prevail. Two things.

1. The triumphant gleam in Dumbledore's eye when he discovered that Harry and Voldemort had mixed their blood together.

2. What Harry found in the Chamber of Secrets. Griffindor's sword. Harry, I believe is the Heir of Griffindor.

I believe the final showdown will take place in Godric's Hollow too.

Can't wait to find out.

No, J. K. Rowling won't kill off Harry because he is a hero not only to the books but to the world. If she were to do that, then the whole world would be devastate and Harry Potter would become less popular.

It would also change the mood of the entire series to something much darker and intense. Harry Potter wouldn't be Harry any more.

Also, if she ever decides to make a sequel series, then Harry needs to still be alive.

No, killing Harry Potter would be the worst mistake ever, no author would kill the protagonist of seven books in the last one, it's just stupid. Why does everyone think that? From what I hear, two characters will die and my guesses are Ron and Hagrid. Both are very close to Harry and both do some things that could get them killed. I can't wait to read the book and find out! Okay maybe tccbaby has a good point.

No I hope not. Harry Potter is awesome and I just think he'll become a regular person in society or a teacher at Hogwarts.

Yes, I do. Many authors have the fear of someone "taking over" their plots after they have finished with a series (Notes were taken after Margaret Mitchell's death and made into Scarlet). If she kills him off, it will make it harder for others to pick up the story, and she can still bring him back if she so takes a notion.

What is Hogwarts without a little magic??!??!!

YES because he needs to die some time soon or because the author doesn't seem like the type of person that will give us a happy ending

Yes.... because I think the author is too selfish to keep him alive. It has to end with her and not some other author writing about Harry one day.

YES!!!! and voldemort too! they are both going to die because 1. it would be a satisfactory ending, 2. at the begining (like pre-socerers stone) she said that she did not want to continue it after the seven books, 3. she would not want others to use the characters 4. voldemort should die becaseu hes a meanie!
