what would be needed to do, to change out 6 6volt batteries, for 3 12 volt batteries in a 36 volt system ?????

Scissor lift?
Three 12 volt batteries.
Two jumper leads Pos-Neg, Pos-Neg
ADDED:
Oh, Golf Cart.......Good luck.....Electronic motor controller is probably bad.
