As in Ireland? Whom can forget the bombings, attacks, terrorism, etc. they launched a few decades ago. Hopefully, it is coming to an end, and many Irish did stand strong, although they took from everyone else, instead of solving their own problems.
I am protestant, with mostly catholic relatives, and we don't hate each other. They notice the physical resemblances to the north Ireland, and to south Ireland and Scotland. I wish Ireland never did fight as it affected me very badly, and I wished to be from a country and/or people not ignorant enough to bomb their own people. It seemed such a waste of life. I hear they are improving. Some of my family visits Ireland, I visit my husband's country, they never bombed each other for decades.
I don't think they prove a good example to their youth, and it is hard to regain a good standing without taking unfair advantage of good people, and pretending they never did anything. I liked it when the Irish stood up and said they were wrong, and enough was enough. If you can't live peacefully, how can you ever lead? By taking unfair advantage, cheating, and lying, things Irish in these parts are famous for.
They would never help widows and children, they'd try to take the very life of your only child. They won't get away with it.

I don't want to live in any country that isn't strong, and isn't divided. Communist countries allow only one thought process in public. Do you think that makes them stronger or weaker?

The first amendment guarantees free speech, and that pretty much guarantees we will be divided about various issues. But that makes the country as a whole stronger.

Don't worry, the country is not as "divided" as some of the politicians want you to think.

Do you remember how united we were on 9/11?

That is what makes America such a wonderful Country.
