go back to the store that it was purchased at and trade it in for a watch or bracelet or earrings if you wear them. jewelry appreciates in value, so you could just sell it and since the B@#*H cheated you could take the money and have a divorce party.

If you have a child, pass them down to them. It will mean something to them because at the time those rings were put on, there was love there. If you have no kids, you could pawn them or save them for next time (if you're cheap).

Have it melted down by a jeweler and made into another piece of jewelery like a custom ring stamped with "Yes, I single, but I don't come cheap!"

Funny.......... I own a pawn shop. I crushed mine with a hammer one night and put it on my keychain. Waiting for the price of gold to skyrocket and I will SELL!

depending on how long the relationship was they probably go back to the jewelry store to see if they can exchange it for a watch i know i sell jewelry or they go to the pawn shop
