It appears to me they have been on a real long vacation. Lets all help them out next election and get them out permanently.

I assume you're talking about Congress. If members of Congress went on vacation any more often, they'd never have to come to work! You're right, though: they don't accomplish anything when they DO work, so why not let them vacation all year 'round. They'd probably do less damage. -RKO- 05/18/09

George W. Bush will lead them all on vacation on his way to Crawford, Texas. We have soldiers getting killed and maimed everyday and illegal immigration is a chaos, so now the loyal Bushies and all the corrupted elected officials are going on their 2 month vacation, paid vacation.

Look at it this way, our "elected" officials are out of the way when they are in D.C. I call it the screw-up, move up concept. If they were a nuisance at a local or state level, ship them to D.C. Better to keep them all in one place. I think they need to be fired, forget vacation.

Well, yeah -- but where do they get the money to go on those lavish vacations? Our paychecks? Shoot me in the eye. It'd be better if Congressmen just kept to themselves and didn't keep trying to mess with our lives.

Is that what you want to pay them to do? After all, it's your tax money that pays their salaries.
I prefer that they stick to their jobs - and get them done!
