I understand this was used in the 60's and 70's but apparently it went out the window .

Question - Why did people stop saying it ? Do they not believe it anymore ?

It has become "I will defend with your life my right to say what I want to."

Sounded pretty good, didn't it? Well the minorities get heard louder these days...Respect was thrown out the window as disrespect emerged, and soon your democratic party would like to censor your talk tv and radio shows...Go to Michael Savage.com......I think people do still as long as your not being mean and hateful...your govt.? They'd like to shut you up and become socialist.

It went out the window with the advent of the neocons, who have done everything in their power to limit freedom of speech.

Now that Americans are not all on the same page anymore, (not all white, not all Christian, not all law abiding, not all moral, not all normal), it is no longer a sane and reasonable philosophy to hold.

I believe that the author was declared an ENEMY COMBATANT and is now away at "camp" where he is receiving the badly needed water THERAPY that he has so desperately needed for the last 40-something years.
