obviously you are being haunted by ghosts living in your computer. The person that built your computer was obviously a voodoo doctor and he filled the computer full of souls.

Click "START",Go into "Control Panel" and look for "Power options", or system start-up that will give you the option to change how and when your computer powers up or shuts down. Obviously, it is set to come on but you were unaware of setting it. It's probably a default setting that is now bothering you, tho it seems a bit of an odd thing to do if it is a default. Is someone else allowed to use and work on your computer or is it just you? You do turn it off completely instead of asking it to hibernate right? Stand-by and hibernate are set up so the smallest nudge of the mouse and the computer will come back on, right? So, that's not your problem....correct? Good luck. Use the help resource if you don't find the control panel. it will be able to tell you how to power down, then you can find similar files for discontinuing the automatic power up.

It is in the BIOS of your computer. To get into it, you need to press either F2 or Del, Then there will be a place for scheduled automatic startups. Depending on the Motherboard and the Bios used, there are different places it can be found. Just search around you should be able to find it. Be careful to not change too many things in there because it may harm the ability for your system to startup properly.
