I don't have any family, and I don't usually
share personal problems with friends,
unless it's serious, so I'd have to say,
on the average, a pretty long time.
(that's probably why i'm insane...)
The ones I do share, yeah, I usually feel better.

I prefer to talk about problems when they come up because I always feel better after discussing them, but sometimes I have to wait a little while before I can. It just depends on the problem.

I used to wait until I was boiling over for days and now I just nip it in the bud right then and there and I feel so much better and I can move on without thinking about it over and over. Usually what I shoulda coulda woulda said stuff. I'm Free!

depends on the problem. the only ones i talk about are super huge ones and it usually takes me about a week to talk about them. for the most part, i do feel better after talking to my husband about them.

It depends on the problem, and how much it bothers me. Also if the solution is going to be unpleasant, then I will put it off for weeks, and, YES, I always feel better when its dealt with..... doesn't stop me from putting off dealing with the next problem though!

I think about it intensely for a day or two and then I'll talk to a good friend and it always seems to help. Someone elses views can put a new perspective on things.

I keep my own counsel, which may well be a fault, but I don't like to share my doubts. I don't have confidants, I just have myself for a sounding board. It probably is better to have someone to bounce your thoughts off of, but I never have. In the end of it all, all you have is yourself.
