funny isn't it. what is more strange if you squat your finger or stub your toe or you get hit by something with out breaking the skin, you will laugh....but if your skin is cut or gashed the reaction is all together different. It almost seems like your brain can tell if the injury is serious or not. Although hitting your thumb with a hammer is not the most pleasant experience in the world it's still funny.

I did before but I had to train myself not to. It isn't right and I think it's because we're accustomed to it. They have it on AFV all the time, and people are watching it. It's hurtful to the people you know, also. The other day me and 2 of my friends went to lunch and one of them fell on the way back and while I was trying to help her up, the other one just laughed hysterically. They didn't speak for 2 days

If I'm watching Jackass, I laugh b/c those ppl are idiots and deserve whatever happens to them. I never laugh at patients, in fact, sometimes I even more upset about what's ailing them than they are. When it comes to my family, I laugh b/c of nerves. I have patients come in from accidents with their bones exposed or eyes bulging out of their heads and it doesn't bother me at all, but when it comes to my kids--yikes. I figure you can laugh or cry and I choose to laugh.

Well, a lot of people act like they're hurt when they're really not. I'm sure if it was serious like a broken bone no one would be laughing.

Sometimes they do a huge flip or something and it is hilarious! But sometimes when they get hurt really bad it kind is and kind of isn't..... If they break a leg or something that is not funny. If they slip they could be funny...... they're just walking all of a sudden...... BOOM!

They're not nice people but sometimes it really is funny though as long as no-one gets seriously hurt.

Because they are nefarious and take pleasure in the pain of others, especially people they are not fond of. Typical human nature. It sucks, I know.
