Personally, I feel like if a woman puts herself in a position to be hit... by hitting anyone, man or women... the other person should have the right to hit her back.
And as for the guy who says he could knock a woman thru a wall... LMFAO. You obviously haven't gotten hold of the right woman. =)

Hhhmm. That's a good question my mother often told me " When somebody hits you then you hit them back" but this doesn't work with the opposite sex. The only time you could ever hit a women and get away with it is usually in a life or death situation. If your not in that kind of situation then the best thing to do is be the smarter person and walk away. If it happens often then you should try to get it on video or get a witness. If it leaves a scar then swallow your pride and go to the police if more men stood up to women in this way then women wouldn't have this kind of leverage over us.

Women should not be hitting men or hitting anyone for that matter. When it happened to first time you needed to set boundaries and inform her that is not allowed. Why would you want to be someone that hits instead of talking out the problem? Find some one else because not all women are like that.

I agree with you and I believe once a woman hits... all bets are off. Violence begets violence, you know. Now I'm not saying if a woman hits a man he should lay into her.... a man can do a heck of a lot more damage than a woman can. But fair is fair. And some women take advantage of a man who she knows wont hit back.
My brother was just hit in the face with a beer bottle by a woman. He didn't hit her... but he scared the he11 out of her by letting her know he could brake her in half, if he wanted to. Good for him.

I think you are wrong here. The law states now, on domestic violence scenes that police can arrest both parties. I know a woman that threw a house plant at her husband and then called the police thinking he was going to be arrested, and instead she went to jail. Either way, man or woman, they need to keep their hands to themselves, didn't your kintergarden teacher tell you that. Men or women that hit are creeps, it doesn't have to do with the sex of the person.

You know I was abused for 8 years but I don't see it any different. No woman has the right to hit a man either. I don't care what the reason. If you love someone you love then you don't use them for a punching bag.

It shouldn't be okay. Men generally are physically stronger so the threat of it is enough to get them to stop. Men don't go to the cops about it, perhaps because of ego, or not feeling like they are in danger, but to be honest, it is not right.
My husband was abused in his last marriage, and it is sad. If it would have been the other way around, he would have been in jail, instead he had to pay her $ even though she stayed at home, threw things at him, psychologically abused him, and then cheated...

Not all women hit, and your wife is wrong when she hits you. Don't TRY to pizz her off enough to make her hit you, but don't put up with it either. TELL her you won't tolerate that, and if she continues...you CAN have arrested, just like I could have a man arrested for hitting me.

You answered your own stupid question with the second sentence, it didn't hurt! If a male hits a woman it will do damage, notice I said male, because a real man would NEVER hit a woman.Only a coward hits a woman.

Why do you group all women together? I find that offensive because I've never hit my husband or anyone else. I agree it is the principle of the thing and she is wrong so discuss it with her and ask her to quit. That is considered domestic violence so she needs to quit before she starts hitting harder and possibly does hurt you and ends up in jail.
