Do older women masturbate? Like women in their late 30's, 40's and 50's? Or does there come a time where it just tapers off or they stop altogether? I'm 30 and it hasn't tapered down much for me at all, is it the same for women?

I am 64 and my husband is 67. We both still masturbate, although he doesn t very often because of erection problems and we treasure his erections for lovemaking these days. We make love around eight or nine times per month. Sex is the be all and end all of our lives and a huge enjoyment for us. Many people think sex is less important as you age and we couldn t disagree more. It is even more important when you realise there are more years behind you than still to come. I m 76 and masturbate to climax at least 3 times a day, (usually while watching porn, but sometimes I wake up during the night touching myself, I sleep in the nude) I live on my own and have lot s of time on my hands, pardon the pun, lol... I also have frequent sexual intercourse ( about 3 times a week) with my neighbors son who is 29 and in a sexless marriage. I find I get really frustrated when my children/grandchildren come to visit as I can t masturbate as frequently or openly as I like to, and I can t have intercourse while their around..

Why not? Older women have the same reasons for masturbating as does anyone else. But as you get older, you should be using more lube than when you were younger.

I'm a 66 and do it 4-5 times a week. More than I used to because my husband is slowing down. I know my sister is ten years younger and she has almost never done it.

OK now as I am about the oldest guy here I am in my 70's I will tell you I know women in their 60's, 70's and 80's that still do. I see nothing wrong with that either. At my age all Viagra does for me is make me thirsty
