Sheesh, what are you on baby cakes? I would never tear the wings off of flies. I administer a healthy dose of nitrous oxide and once I am feeling the effects of that, then I use scissors to gently snip them off. Its not like I cruelly rip them off or anything.

When I was in 5th and 6th grade, must have been back in the early 80's. We had a game in class where the boys would grab a fly out of the air and then pop the wings off. Then we would call them our pets and let them walk around on our desk changing there direction of travel with our pencils. Yeah pretty sick. What do you expect from 11 and 12 year old boys.

I did all the bad stuff when I was a kid. Pulled off those wings, cooked grasshoppers with a magnifying glass. I used to pack wet fertilizer around cherry bombs and let it dry to make them more powerful. These did not just crack the toilets at Magdalene's Catholic School. Yep, if they had caught me, it would have been the shrink's couch and boy's home for me.
Sister Mary Margaret said she would pray for me.
When I grew bigger ("up" might be a misnomer) I became a fireman so I could drive fast and play with fire.
Of course, I blame my folks and my siblings. Can I go now, Judge? @8->

When I was little I had an invisible one-eyed pet fly named Fagin. Obviously I didn't pull wings off. Obviously I was weird.

I could never do such a thing, not even to a fly. They are one of God's creatures too. Put here for a purpose.

i did that a few times when i was a kid. now i just squash them or wash them down the sink drain or something like that....sucking them up through the vaccuum works too, as long as you have the filter on the back...or they fly back out.
