im having pains on my left side i had them like since march when i was thinking i was pregnant and when u ovulate and have sex how long to wait until u take a test

i know thinking im pregnant dosent mean i have pains but since march i have had them march is round the time im suppose to be but i did it today while i am ovualting i think i also be having braxton hicks pain y is that and what are that

You can take a test from the 4th day after you miss your period, but a week or more is better. If you haven't had one since March you can test now. Some tests aren't all that accurate and you may get a negative, even if you are pregnant. My sister was 9 weeks and still getting a negative results, till it was confirmed by blood test and ultrasound.
Braxton Hicks contractions only take place later in the pregnancy (past to fourth month), not at the beginning.
If you find out you are pregnant, and you are in pain, see the doctor it could be an impending miscarriage.
If you think you are pregnant and are having continuous pain in the side see a doctor, it could be an ectopic pregnancy. That's where the baby is growing/forming outside the womb, usually in the fallopian tubes. If that's the case it is very dangerous for you, and fatal to the little one. You must see the doctor and soon. An ultrasound will confirm this.
Or it could be Poly-cystic Ovary Syndrome, and you may not be pregnant at all.
To find out, do the pregnancy test, and/or see your doctor.

If you are feeling the pains at the same time each month, you could just feel yourself ovulating. Some people only ovulate from one side.

When was your last period that would help. You go by your last period and if you miss the next one then you take a test

most women do not find out that there pregnant till they are 4 weeks
