Most mothers would do this and I do admire her for what she did and hope all will be well with her.
If you check the statistics, though, I think you will find men are the ones who need to learn to take responsibility for their young since so many of them run from their responsibility and don't pay child support.

We don't have sharks where I live, but we have really big mosquitos!! I just killed one before it could attack my child....with my killer kung fu!! I am going to have it stuffed and mounted in my living room!!
Of course any mother worth her salts would. What I wondered was where was the brave father?????
