I love the way birch trees look, the way they sway so gracefully with the green of the leaves against the white bark. There's just something very soothing about them.

I like the Willow Tree because of the way they droop over the ground and provide a sort of umbrella where you can sit hidden, and enjoy some quiet peace. I also like any tree that's good for climbing because climbing trees rocks. I had a great climbing tree in my front yard when i was younger (we have since moved), and I think it was called a Chinese Mulberry. I'm pretty sure that's it, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, those are two faves of mine.

I also love all trees. One favorite is the Bradford Pear. They grow in a natural shape that looks pruned. They bear white blooms in the Spring, and the leaves turn a brilliant red in the Fall. They're spectacular!!

Pear trees. They smell so good in the springtime when they bloom. If there are several around and the wind blows, the sweet smell intoxicates the air.

I have several.
Mimosa-reminds me of Monarch butterflies in South Texas.
Magnolia-reminds me of tea parties I used to have with my only girl cousin while we sat under the drooping branches of my great-grandmother's 30+foot tall magnolia.
Weeping willow-love the way they look when the breeze is gently blowing.

Catalpa. It is the tree that keeps on giving! You get pretty flowers and then very long beans!
