It just seems obvious to me that adoption is the ethical and civilized choice.

I think the answer is obvious. I agree with you.

Not all babies that are given up for adoption go into foster homes. My sister gave a child up for adoption almost 20 years ago. We got to meet him this week. He turned out to be a wonderful young man raised by wonderful parents with 2 other adopted kids.

Anyone who says killing an unborn child is better than letting them live the life the parent helped create is a farking moron and dumb as hell and would be better off sterilized so that they can't procreate and instill stupid ideas like this into future generations...or God forbid give them the chance to murder the 'fetus' in their own womb.

By far, adoption is better. There are thousands and thousands of couples out there that would love the chance to be parents but for whatever reason are not able to. Adoption is the ethical choice. Abortion should never even be considered, except in cases of rape or severe medical problems (and I don't even agree with that type).

You're up for a big debate here. I agree with you though. I beleive adoption is the better choice if the woman is not able to raise a baby at the time. It wasn't the baby's fault that it was created. If it is not conveniant for the parents to raise a child, then give someone else the joy of raising it. That is my own opinion though.

Adoption is better of course, if you didn't want the baby or the chance of a baby, she shouldn't have sex. Abortion is so wrong. it's so far better to give the baby up for adoption than kill it. i don't care what people say, once the woman becomes pregnant there is a human life inside her and it should not be taken for any reason!

you are right, adoption is the right thing to do, there are alot of good people out there that would love to have a kid, but for some reason can not have any, adopting a child is something they could do, so the kid would have a good home, with parents that want and love him/her. But instead there are those selfish women out there4 that would Rather abort a pregnancy and Deni the child life and and family a chance for a child.

i think adoption too, because you're not killing anybody.

but i mean, i've never been pregnant.
and my dad made my mom abort the child she was gonna have before me.
so i wouldn't condemn women who do abort.
i bet a great deal of women reason that it's better for their children not to be born at all than to be born in a crappy life that they would never choose for themselves.

still, though, i do resent my dad for making my mom do that. i think people should always wear protection unless they are specifically planning to have a child, and i think everyone should always be carrying condoms around, because you never know when it's gonna happen and then when it does happen and you get pregnant and you don't know what to do, i guess in the midst of desperation abortion doesn't look like such a bad option

If You Adopt...
You will be free to pursue your goals and dreams that you had before you were pregnant.

You will not have to care for a baby before you are ready.

You will not have the financial burden of caring for a child.

You will not have to worry about finding a sitter, missing out on the fun with your friends and being tied down.

When you think of your baby, you will think of him or her as happy and loved by a mommy and daddy.

You will have precious memories of your baby’s face, fingers, toes, eyes and smile.

You will know you gave the greatest gift of all - a child, to a couple whose hope and dream was a baby to love.

There is no baby to think of; no smile, no little fingers or toes to remember. You have only the memory that you ended your baby’s life. Instead of feeling good about how your pregnancy ended, you may feel sad and empty. But you can never go back and give that child life! The back of this card has questions and answers about adoption. Please take a moment to read them before you make the most important decision of your life. Decisions ... some are small and some are very big. Some don’t affect your life at all . Others have consequences you must deal with the rest of your life.

this is an extrmely difficult question to answer and depends on the specific case.... I beleive abortion should be an option because a woman has the right to do with her body as she pleases but I would hope she would choose adoption

Adoption is better for baby and girl. Not so dangerous or as bad a health risk.

well that's just obvious giving her baby up for adoption! some women might argue that this is not the situation for them but it's simple, after having the baby, give it the chance to have a life and let he/she fill a childless family's heart with love! as long as your health isn't being threatened i see no reason to not give your baby to a childless couple, it's just unnecessary cruelty/murder to the baby. she may think it's violating women's rights if you don't allow her to choose what she's doing to her body, but you're taking away HUMAN rights when you deny a baby the right to live. it's not just a clump of cells, it's a living, growing life! sorry for the rant i just really feel strongly about it. =] ♥
