i've been tempted, but i'm proud to say i haven't read anyone else's diary (besides the published ones -- those don't count ;) i know i would never want anyone to read mine!!

I'm ashamed to admit I read one of my college roommates's diary. In my defense, she left it out in plain view. So she must've meant SOMEONE to read it; might as well have been me.

Karma bit my a** when my ex read my diary out loud in front of my best friend.

No, never have. I would not without their permission, that's their personal thoughts and I would hate for someone to violate my privacy like that.

my ex MADE me read his diary. i felt awful.

it did help me understand what he was feeling, but holy moley, it made me feel dreadful.

no, i wouldn't do it again.

the guilt is too strong!

No but my dad read mine when I was younger and my parents where getting a divorce and he burned it cause he was afraid my mom would get it and incriminate him more.......
