If you have allergies...
honey is suppose to help build up your immune system.
I found my allergies have decreased near to none in the last two years (knock on wood), due to my increased consumption of honey in the last five years!
I hope its working....
NOT TO MENTION, honey is a natural source of sugar.
And like the sugars in fruit. Distilled, white sugar is not good for those who are high risk Diabeties.

I just heard that it's really good for your lips to keep them soft and plump. Go figure. I've only had spoon fulls when my throat is sore.
