The primary way that the government can protect individual freedom is by defending them from those nations that would try to take away the freedom of those people. For example, in the United States, it is important that we have a strong military to protect us from countries that would like to kill us, and, thus, take away our freedom. Similarly, it is important to have an adequate police force to protect the citizens of a certain area from those who would otherwise commit crimes. Finally, citizens must have the right to protect themselves (i.e., be allowed to possess firearms after undergoing a background check). Also, I do not believe in censorship: I believe that every citizen should be allowed to say that which they would like to say, even if I disagree with it. The only obvious exception would be in the case of network television, in which viewing material considered indecent (i.e., swearing, adult content, Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction") is not allowed. I also believe that people should be allowed to practice whatever religion they choose.

The law of the state should always be put over the freedom of an individual. Order and overall organization should be more important than an individual's feelings or opinions. Better a society be harsh and orderly than to have an individual free to express his opinions to the masses and influence them to think differently. Government should decide what's good for the people, not themselves. We don't know what's best for ourselves. They are here to protect us.

What governments do you've in innovations? maximum governments that are literally not democracies don't have any stability between regulation & ORDER AND individual FREEDOMS. actuality of the count, maximum of those HAVE very few individual RIGHTS. those that are democracies already have a stability yet the following is the position there has continuously been controversy. some trust the guy rights are being eroded and can't see that the regulations were surpassed to guard SOCIETY. they look to imagine the guy rights could take priority over protecting SOCIETY.

One way is to respect those freedoms on both sides. Of course that is an overly simplistic view for a complex problem. But one of the major distresses in this country today is the lack of respect all people show each other, show authority and even the lack of respect police and government show their citizens.
It's a big problem

That's been a hotly debated point since the 18th century. If you can figure out a good answer to that, that everyone can agree to, you'd have yourself a grateful nation.
