I was just amazed when our troops were killed and 3 taken hostage and all I could get on the news was the "Paris Hilton" report!!! I am ashamed of the news networks for their coverage of this story. Is this a reflection of the American values? Do so many people (and the news networks) not appreciate the sacrifice that our young men and their families are making over seas? If you do not agree with the war, do you not care about your fellow country men? If so , our country is no better than Iraq.

The truth is most americans know more about Paris Hilton than they do about their own government. America has many perks to it's government, but the flaws have been showing a lot more lately. Some Americans remember and appreciate the sacrafises our country had to go through to be what we are today. Unfortunately, generations now couldn't name a the 13th president let alone care about what our fellow country men are going through.

I heard about the missing soldiers a few times today; sometimes I forget we are at war. Paris Hilton is only newsworthy to me if she is going to jail for her 45 days. I was celebrating. But now I just change the channel.

Lacking is saying it too kindly. How about flat out lying to hide
this country's overwhelming Stupidity in the Military? If the public were to find out everything that's been coverd up they would demand the resignation of every one of the so called
people in charge.
