This would be in the state of California. Also every time I get a refill they continue to misprint my Doctor's name , even after me trying to correct them.
Upon trying to get a refill yesterday , which I never got. The Pharmacist was not only rude to me when I called in to find out if it was ready , but had the nerve to say to me "get mad if you want , and alittle bit of pain won't hurt you". Now I have a total Collasp of 3 disks and the doc says the 4th and the 5th is going as well. I have been diagnosed with Degenerative Joint Disease , my knees are about shot as well as one wrist , and my back is done.
On my last refill there was a 14 yaer old kid that served me , he was filling my bottle , and as he was walking to me had my bottle open and his dirty fingers it it.
Am at a loss as what to do , besides change my pharamacy.

I have worked for major pharmacies in three different state and it has never been a practice because of the importance and sensitivity of the pharmacy to have a minor in the area. Although it could be legal I certainly don't think this would be a reasonably accepted practice for any chain.

I would bring this matter to the attention of the company or manager.

I would believe that it is 21 years old for legal reason's.

Are you talking about the Cashier?

Or the RX Tech?

or Pharmacy Tech?

My friend is a Pharmacist and he has specialized training, a RX degree, and he's over 21?

GOOD LUCK! :-)

You may want to ask the Doctor? Or Store Manager in the Pharmacy.

Usually they have an official governement posting about dispensing RX's right on the way behind the cash register.

GOOD LUCK! :-)

what state? Certainly not in mine! You have to be a certified technician, or technician extern to work in my pharmacy. There is no age requirement per se, but it would be quite impossible for a 14 year old to even set foot inside my pharmacy. Seventeen is the earliest possible.

Depends on that state, but the lowest legal age in the U.S. is 16 inside the pharmacy.
