Haters on MTV, I work there. Do you think we should as a channel play more music.?

We are named MTV (Music Television) and we do play music but I do agree alot of the music is replaced by shows. I like the shows. Do you think MTV as a coorperation should play more music

The station is called MTV music television as you know, but with that being it's name over 50% of the programs should be MUSIC. Mtv seriously plays what it seems like 2 hrs a music a day in the morning and a commercial after every single song. WTF seriously. Everything on that damn channel is STUPID reality crap these days. MTV has seriously gone down the drain and I dont ever think it will ever be what it use to. MTV done tarnished it's name. It should be changed. RT reality television. Thank God for FUSE. I could go on, but I'll be done

I used to think that they should play more music considering the name of the channel. But then I started liking the shows more than shows on other channels. And now there are other MTV channels that play nothing but music videos. So I think it's pretty evened out not.

I think you should play more music and on top of that more rock music, like Godsmack, Tool, Disturbed, KoRn, and System of a Down. Quit playing the same video's hour after hour! If age makes a difference I'm 36. I was watching mtv when it was new as a teen and loved it.
I know mtv2 has headbangers ball, but that's once a week for a couple of hrs. and half of the bands they show suck, not all, but most suck!
I've actually switched to fuse cause they play more hard rock than the others, but even they aren't as good as they use to be either. Once Julia left, they started sucking as well.

You know, I remember when video killed the radio star. I was there. I was in heaven. You couldn't pull me away for years. Then in came the reality show. One or two, maybe even three seasons of Real World was ok. And maybe even it would have been ok if it was JUST Real World, but now every time you turn on MTV there's a new damn reality show to sift through. And there's never any real music on when there are videos on, it's all the same old recycled rap crap r&b shoot up my ****** and slap my hos bullsh*t!! What happened, MTV? Did you sell out? Remember why you started MTV to begin with?

Yes. MTV should play more music. Reality shows are great but there are just too much. I liked MTV better lots of years ago when they played more videos. Now I'm all about fuse.

Tell your employers that MTV started out as a music channel,without commercials or shows.That's the reason I dropped MTV.Reality shows are a dime a dozen.Thank you.

MORE music it IS Music tv, also throw some Latin videos in there every now and then, I like that show Scarred its crazy!! WAIT I want to know why where I live my cable provider Time Warner Digital Cable (in columbia, south carolina)DOES NOT provide MTV TR3S ! I would love to have that channel! I missing the lastest in Latin music espeically Reggaeton!

I dont watch MTV now because they dont play enough videos...its all crap! Stupid dating shows and posers looking for 15 mins of fame...its ridiculous!! And if you actually wanna catch music videos you have to be up from 3AM-8AM. Are you kidding??
