Even after a successful career that's spanned over 40 years, she's still busy, currently is doing a video for her new perfume that will be available next year (you'll see her promoting it then). She's also working on a new album.

You definitely don't hear about her much, I agree, for me, I always hear new stuff. like the other day she had a conference about Armani wardrobe. Minor news though. I get the latest at www.cherworld.com/news. But yes, many describe Cher as "The Ground Hog" coming out of the hole and doing something big such as a hit song about every 7 years or so. If you know what I mean. The last big event was the Farewell tour in 2002/2003 so I think we about due soon, don't you...wink, wink...

the last time i heard anything about cher she was donating money to help people in new orleans by buying food for the volunteers and police and fire department workers and such.it was a wonderful thing to do to help after hurricane katrina.she is also a great singer and a pretty good actress too.
