Thank you all for your answers but I just found out that my lower intake manifold has got a leak. can somebody tell if they have any idea how much this is going to cost to repair? and should i take it to a dealer or any mechanic shop will do?

Plastic intake manifold with silicone rubber seals is not a hard job about 1 to 2 hours for the expert mechanic. Expect 4.0 hour labor charge " we all need to make a living" Your mechanic should have done this job before so they are not guessing when they inspect the manifold surfaces for warpage you want to have some warranty after the job is compleated.

If you take it to the dealer you will pay 2 times the amount and you know this, Find you a mechanic local and ask him , You may go to the parts yard a buy it cheep a used one will work just as new, good luck

most reputable repair faciluties charge about the same. it should cost between 3- 400 dollars. it takes about 6 hrs to do.
