Does anyone know what the defects are on the coins and what to look for ? Thanks so much

I'm told that some of them don't have "In God we trust" on them, but instead were imprinted "For English, press 1 now"

Here's the real deal:

Coins were released into circulation without their edge inscriptions (the U.S. mottoes, "In God we trust" and "E pluribus unum", the coin's mint mark, and its year of issuance.
Some coins have the edge inscriptions up-side-down but they are not classified as defects.

In early March, a Colorado couple found a dollar coin missing stamping on both sides of the coin.

So far they are the only defects found.
