I haven't watched that channel since, 1998, I was 16 then, and I haven't had cable for the past two years. Is it even a channel anymore? Last time, I seen, it was nothing but shows, where did the music go?

No, I have grown up since then.
What a waste of time that was...watching MTV.

I have to admit I still watch MTV at age 45! But I think I have a good excuse...I´m living in Germany and it´s one of the few even partially English-language stations we receive here that isn´t just news or religion (we receive 8 all news English stations and 3 all religion English stations...my other choices are the British Travel channel or Arirang.."Korea for the world..the world for Korea"). Not all shows are in English..just things that would be too hard to translate..like the dating shows or Hogan Know´s Best or Pimp My Ride or the real World or...coming back soon.. Beavis & Butthead! Strangely enough the translate the cartoons like South Park and Drawn Together and Family Guy and American Dad. Guess that tells you how much music German MTV (MTV Austria has almost the same schedule) plays..usually from 1am to noon...after that it´s all shows with an occasional clip or two.

I go to You Tube and watch all the old videos I used to like. Yes, they need to rename MTV because there is no music on that channel anymore. Same goes for VH1.

Sometime, when Im zapping channels, and I see I video on MTV, yes I watch it, but it is very rare.
They have forgotten that the "M" stands for music

I kind of do, but not really anymore.
Cause now there's the computer and everything.
I just don't care for television much anymore now.
I spend most of my free time on the computer.
I only watch when there are days i have nothing else better to do.

Ya its still a channel. But know its mostly about scripted "reality" shows (Exposed) But they do have some good ones (Punk'd, Wild'n'Out, Boiling Points)
