Bob Dylan is an awesome writer and musician. Granted, he isn't and never has been the best singer. But, the other two make up for his vocal abilities.

I think it's important to be able to at least understand one's work in order to classify them as a genius. I have never understood any of Dylan's stuff. Maybe it's just me, but I think it has become fashionable for some reason to admire his work. Thank goodness I'm not a slave to fashion.
I'm sure it makes sense to somebody though. At least I hope so...

Overrated! I heard a lot about this guy when I was a kid, then when I endeavored to listen to his music, I was not impressed. He is a decent musician, but not as good as you would think from all the hype.

I like him alright but I personally think he's over rated. His music is good but he can't really sing too well. He is an icon though and I admire him for such a long music career.
