Whenever I try to play a song on my iPod nano, it doesn't play, but instead, all the songs just start fastfowarding and not playing so basically, its not working. If you have any suggestions, I already tried pressing the center button and MENU at the same time and it doesn't work. I need help...bad!!! I just got it!

if you just got it it will still be under warranty. go and get a new one. ipod nanos are notorious for breaking easily. its nothing you did.

Did you push the hold button back and forth before you pressed the center and menu button for six seconds?
Thats what restarts the Ipod.
If that doesn't work, call customer service.

well sam call the ipod company and tell them they might tell you what to do or if it has a wanty you chould get a new one.

You may have to restore it to factory setting and start over. :)
