Yuppers. I was a strawberry picker. Was paid 10 cents for every quart we picked.
Dated myself, didn't I???

I was really excited because it was a different type of job; at the age of 14, I worked as a senate page in Washington State, where I learned a little bit about how the legal system works. I met some really cool people aside from the senator from my home district, and it was just simply exciting to see that first paycheck. It wasn't much, but it was cool to have worked for something for the first time :)

I was very excited! My parents told me if I could pay the payment and insurance, I could get my first car. I made less than $2.00/hr, but still had $ left for gas. Of course - that was in the '70s:) Another neat thing about the job...the boss was HOT!

Newspaper carrier- I was excited...but that wore off pretty quickly. It wasn't too bad, though.

I worked the graveyard shift at McDonald's. Not exactly thrilling, but it was a job.
