I was neither. I wasn't happy that a man died because I'm not callous or cold, but I wasn't sad because Jerry Falwell changed American politics for the worse. I feel that the United States is worse off today because of Falwell's influence than ever before.
We can't elect a person to public office without having to dissect their deeply personal beliefs (i.e. religion). Personally, I don't care what a person believes as long as our country is run with honesty and diligence.
We continue to hear stories of corrupt Republicans and Democrats who molest children, steal money, favor campaign contributors, etc. yet they all follow Falwell's lead and campaign on how "moral" and "God-fearing" they are. Give me a break. It's all one big joke.

Who would even ask such a question. People may not have agreed with how another person lives, or what they accomplished while they were alive, but to ask if someone is "happy" they're dead. I'm sure Jerry Falwell's family wouldn't really appreciate this question. Does anyone have RESPECT anymore??? How absolutely rude!

I never cared for what little I heard him carry forth, and that i think of that he had plenty to declare that became an aberration to Christianity, yet i don't have a grudge against the guy. His relatives could be lacking him.

Happy as a clam!
Bunch of hypocrites, are you going to tell me that you didn't celebrate Saddam Hussein's death? Or that you wouldn't celebrate Osama's death? Lets be truthful, parasites like them, (Jerry Faggwell, Rush Limbaugh, Porky O'Donnell)l that are a detriment to world peace and human unity, is worth to celebrate to the full extent of celebration!
Jerry Faggwell is Dead #$%$ Jerry Faggwell!!!

This may sound rude of me, but I couldn't care less. It just means one less person in this world trying to tell me how to live my life.

Neither. I didn't like him, but I'm not going to be happy about someone's death, unless they're a cold-blooded killer.
