Do you think it was worth it? Was it too much work? Did it cost your more than you expected?

I'm looking into buying a house that was built in the 1950s, and it needs some work. Where can I find information about how to fix up an old house? Or how to do home repairs? Such as new dry wall, paint, floors..etc.

I've got a 100+ year old house - I love it...but I'll be fixing it up for the next 20 years. I got it for a steal, so it was well worth it. Check out "This Old House"

you have some good techniques yet, the enormous "yet" do you have the experience. The economic employer is going to examine this. they at the instant are not going to furnish your cash and characteristic you unfastened interest interior a number of months as a results of fact it is "to no longer ordinary" and leave. I did this for over two decades. The final residing house i bought became a eating place. It became over 40 years previous. I positioned 30K into in and it is between the prettiest residing house interior the section now, with a backyard it is suited yet, I had the methods and the "understand how" you're able to convince the economic employer you're able to do it, teach them you recognize how, teach them you have the understanding. understand your methods and kit and components. do no longer circulate in on a lark and fail. I circled one hundred twenty five residences, seventy 5 condos and over 50 apartments at everyone time with over 13 human beings working for me. We have been doing as many as six residences in one week. Get a job with a enterprise like this and learn the commerce first, understand the methods, then, stick on your dream. it is a good commerce and good money
