I am in the same scenario. I like my best guy friend, but we are not the bes of friends anymore. Anyways, I would ask her out if I were you. If you are really good friends, it might work out. Just know when you break up, things can never go back to how they used to be. Once you went down that road, there's no turning back.

Sorry but there isn't anything you can do otherwise, you either move forward or stay the same. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
As her out and make her your girlfriend before some other guy does.

yes, although friendship is important, take a risk. It doesnt have to be a risk if you just play it cool and be a nice boyfriend.

Just make sure that you don't start at the wrong foot. Be direct, if you think you know her pretty well, then it should go well.
